We are looking for a Fractional CTO / AI Solutions Architect who sits at the intersection of retail tech, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce conversion.
You are the system designer. Your mandate is to translate our business and margin constraints into a concrete technical blueprint, select the most efficient tech stack, and act as the technical lead overseeing our offshore engineering team who will write the code.
What You Will Build (The Mandate):
The Intelligence Pipeline: Architect the system that ingests macro-market trends, competitor stock-outs, and search intent (via APIs), and cross-references them against our proprietary database of historical design assets to identify high-probability product opportunities.
The Auto-Conversion Loop: Design the "Design-to-Marketing" pipeline. This system must trigger generative AI models to create high-fidelity lifestyle renders from our 3D files, launch synthetic micro-test ads, and feed user behavior into a Headless CMS (Next.js/Shopify) to dynamically alter the UI/UX.
The Execution Blueprint: Select the exact tech stack (e.g., Vector Databases, BigQuery, LangChain, Headless frameworks). Create the API documentation, data schemas, and sprint roadmaps.
Team Leadership: Translate the architecture into strict technical constraints and actionable Jira tickets for our offshore development team, running code reviews to ensure flawless execution.
The Finish Line: At the end of month 3, we expect a fully functional MVP pipeline where a market signal automatically triggers a 3D render, launches a micro-test ad, and passes the UI/UX data back to our Headless CMS.
Who You Are:
You have a "Buy, Don't Build" mentality. You know when to stitch together existing tools (Apify, OpenAI, Shopify Headless, Segment) rather than building expensive custom models from scratch.
You understand Retail & Conversion. You know that AI is just a tool to increase ROAS, CVR, and margin. You have experience with e-commerce infrastructure, C2M supply chains, or MarTech.
You are a Translator. You can sit with a Founder, understand the business logic ("we need to know when competitors run out of specific signature items"), and translate that into a precise technical schema for junior developers.
You have deep expertise in modern data architecture, generative AI workflows, and multi-touch digital ecosystems.
What You Won’t Do:
You won’t be coding custom scrapers from scratch.
You won’t be manually auditing our historical design vaults (our internal team handles this).
You won’t be managing physical inventory or supply chains. You are purely focused on the data-to-conversion software architecture.
