We are looking for a developer or consultant to integrate WhatsApp Business messaging via Twilio, manage Meta (WhatsApp Business) approvals, and ensure the system is production-ready for messaging workflows. Key Responsibilities 1. WhatsApp Business Setup (Meta) Assist with WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) setup through Meta. Configure Meta Business Manager and verify the business. Register and connect WhatsApp phone numbers. Submit message templates for Meta approval. Ensure compliance with WhatsApp messaging policies. 2. Twilio Integration Set up Twilio WhatsApp API integration. Connect Twilio with the Meta WhatsApp Business Account. Configure webhooks for inbound and outbound messaging. Implement message sending, delivery tracking, and error handling. Manage Twilio messaging services and phone numbers. 3. Messaging Workflow Development Build APIs or backend logic for: Sending WhatsApp notifications Two-way messaging Automated responses Event-based messaging (e.g., bookings, confirmations) Integrate WhatsApp messaging with our existing platform/backend. 4. Template & Compliance Management Create and submit WhatsApp message templates for: Notifications Transactional messages Customer engagement Ensure Meta approval success and avoid template rejection. 5. Testing & Deployment Test WhatsApp flows in Twilio Sandbox and production. Handle rate limits and message queueing. Ensure reliable message delivery and logging. Technical Requirements Experience with Twilio WhatsApp API Experience working with Meta WhatsApp Business Platform Backend development experience (Node.js / Python / PHP / similar) Experience with webhooks and REST APIs
