I am looking for an experienced AI systems engineer to help set up Claude as a central AI workspace that can assist with analytics, research, automation, and technical workflows. Nothing has been configured yet. I currently have the hardware and access to Claude, but I want the system designed and implemented correctly from the beginning. The goal is to move beyond a simple chatbot and build a structured AI environment that already has useful capabilities installed, so that when I provide a directive and any necessary data or documents, Claude can execute tasks efficiently. This project is focused on initial architecture, capabilities setup, and example workflows, not building a massive custom software platform. Current Setup Hardware available: • Mac Mini (new – intended to act as the main system) • MacBook Pro (daily use) • Desktop PC The Mac Mini will likely act as the primary environment for the AI workspace, but I want the system to be accessible from my other machines. No Claude architecture or workflows have been built yet. Project Goal Build a persistent AI workspace where Claude acts as the central “brain” capable of coordinating workflows and analytical tasks. High-level concept: User directive → Claude → Skills/Tools/Workflows → Data/APIs/Documents → Outputs (analysis, dashboards, reports, drafts, recommendations) Once the system is set up, I should be able to give Claude a goal and provide any necessary documents or data, and the system should already have the tools it needs to execute the task. Scope of Work 1. Claude Workspace Architecture Design and implement a structured environment where Claude can function as more than just a prompt-based assistant. This may include: • setting up the development environment on the Mac Mini • establishing system structure and workflow organization • creating instruction layers and operational rules • organizing how tasks and workflows should be handled • preparing the system for future expansion The system should be powerful behind the scenes but simple for me to use. 2. Install Core Capabilities (“Skills”) The system should include a library of useful capabilities so Claude is ready to assist with a variety of tasks. Examples include: • document analysis • research workflows • data processing and analysis • summarization and reporting • dashboard generation • task planning and breakdown • writing and editing workflows The goal is that Claude already has the tools it needs before I assign tasks. 3. Prepare the System for Analytical Work A major use case for this system will be analytics and modeling, including: • sports analytics • financial / market analysis • algorithm development • dashboard creation and reporting The system should be capable of handling data-heavy analytical workflows. 4. Example Workflows Create several example workflows that demonstrate how the system should operate. Possible examples: • document analysis workflow • research workflow • data analysis workflow • dashboard/report generation workflow These should serve as templates that I can reuse later. 5. Documentation and Handoff Please provide simple documentation explaining: • how the system is structured • how to add new capabilities or workflows • how to maintain or expand the environment A brief walkthrough of the setup would also be helpful.
