Project Overview: I am completing a high-end period home renovation (15 zones) in Dublin, Ireland. The property features a fully centralized KNX smart home architecture. I have a registered, professional electrical contractor handling 100% of the physical installation, including cable pulling, containment, 21U rack building, hardware mounting, and electrical safety testing. I am looking for an experienced KNX Integrator to handle the software programming, logic creation, and remote commissioning via ETS6, as well as the configuration of our Ubiquiti UniFi network. The Hardware Stack: All hardware is already specified and ordered. The system consists of: The Brain: MDT KNX Power Supply & MDT KNX IP Router. The UI: 1Home Server KNX Pro (Bridging native KNX to Apple HomeKit). The Switches: Faradite TAP-5 ORE KNX Keypads (8x in main living spaces). The Sensors: MDT Micro Presence Detectors with Temp Sensors (15x in ceilings). Secondary Switches: MDT 4-Fold & 2-Fold Push Button Interfaces (Behind standard retrotouch switches). The Actuators (MDT): * 10x MDT 4-Fold Dimming Actuators (40 channels). 1x MDT 16-Fold Switch Actuator (Relays for exterior floods, MVHR boost). 3x MDT 8-Fold Blind Actuators (21x Somfy 230V motors). 4x MDT 8-Fold Heating Actuators (27x Salus 230V UFH Manifold valves). The Network: Ubiquiti UDM-SE, 24-Port PoE Switch, 3x U6-Pro APs. Security/Access: UniFi G4 Doorbell Pro, UniFi Access Readers (Gates), UniFi PoE Cameras. Scope of Work: ETS6 Programming: Setup the project, assign physical addresses, and create all Group Addresses based on my Excel Cable Schedule. Logic & Scenes: Program the Faradite/MDT switches for intuitive lighting scenes, "Whole House Off" buttons, and automated blind schedules. Heating Automation: Link the MDT ceiling temperature sensors to the MDT Heating Actuators to control the 6x Underfloor Heating manifolds automatically. Network Setup: Remotely configure the Ubiquiti UDM-SE (VLANs for main network, guest, IoT/KNX, and CCTV). Configure UniFi Protect and UniFi Access. 1Home Integration: Import the KNX project into the 1Home Server so the entire house is natively controllable via the Apple Home App and Siri. Remote Commissioning Support: Work remotely with my on-site electrician during the second-fix phase to test loads, diagnose any miswires, and finalize the system.
