Job Description We run an RV service business in Calgary, Canada and are looking to improve our website by integrating our supplier’s product catalogue and inventory into our Shopify store. The goal is to allow customers to browse RV parts on our website and see if items are available locally in Calgary for pickup or same-day delivery. Project Scope We need a developer to: 1. Scrape product data from our supplier’s public catalogue (around 20,000 SKUS) 2. Import the skus, images, descripptions into our Shopify store 3. Sync inventory levels from the supplier warehouse (primarily Calgary) 4. Display stock availability on product pages 5. Automatically update inventory on a regular schedule 6. Restrict checkout so orders are only available to customers within Calgary postal codes Features Required • Shopify product import via API • Inventory sync automation • Product data scraping (titles, images, descriptions, SKUs) • Calgary delivery restriction by postal code • Ongoing product update capability Tech Stack (Preferred) Experience with: -Shopify API -Python -Playwright / Puppeteer -Web scraping -Automation scripts -Shopify inventory management Nice to Have -Experience with supplier catalogue integrations -Experience with inventory syncing -Experience with local delivery ecommerce stores Project Timeline Ideally completed within 3–4 weeks.
