**Overview** We are looking for an experienced **AI Automation Architect / Agentic Workflow Engineer** to help convert our existing human operational workflows into **AI-driven agentic workflows**. Our company operates a fast-growing wholesale consumer products business with significant operational data flowing through ERP systems, spreadsheets, and reporting processes. We want to systematically analyze our current workflows and build **AI agents that automate these processes end-to-end**, starting with **report generation and data analysis workflows**. This role will begin with a focused pilot project and may expand into a long-term engagement if successful. --- **Phase 1 Scope (Initial Project)** The first workflow we want to automate involves **report creation and operational data analysis**. Current human workflow includes: • Pulling operational data from ERP and spreadsheets • Cleaning and structuring the data • Generating business reports (inventory, sales, financial metrics) • Performing analysis and summarizing insights • Delivering reports to leadership We want to design and implement **agentic workflows that perform these tasks automatically**, with appropriate human approval checkpoints. --- **Responsibilities** • Analyze and document existing human workflows • Break workflows into **atomic tasks suitable for AI agents** • Design **agentic workflow architecture** (task agents, orchestration, triggers) • Build AI agents capable of executing reporting and data workflows • Connect agents to data sources (ERP, spreadsheets, APIs) • Implement orchestration logic between agents • Build monitoring and error-handling systems • Provide documentation for the system architecture --- **Example Workflows to Automate** Initial focus: • Sales reporting • Inventory reporting • Data aggregation from ERP and spreadsheets • Data cleaning and normalization • Report generation with automated insights Future workflows may include: • Product development workflows • Vendor communication workflows • Operations monitoring workflows --- **Ideal Candidate** We are looking for someone who has **real experience building agentic AI systems**, not basic automation scripts. Strong experience with: • AI agents and orchestration frameworks • Workflow automation architecture • Data engineering and reporting pipelines • API integrations • LLM-driven workflows Preferred tools and technologies: • LangChain / LangGraph • CrewAI • OpenAI or Anthropic APIs • Python data pipelines • Airflow or similar orchestration tools • Zapier / Make (optional but helpful) Experience working with **ERP systems and operational data** is a strong plus. --- **Deliverables** • Workflow analysis document • Agent architecture design • Working agentic workflow for reporting automation • Documentation for maintenance and expansion --- **Project Structure** Initial engagement: 20–40 hours to design and implement the first workflow.
