Project Overview I’m building an MVP for a new product called Jaumatic Revenue Intelligence. The goal of this platform is to help web hosting companies increase revenue per user by detecting upsell opportunities across their customer base. Hosting providers manage thousands of domains and websites, but most upsell opportunities remain hidden. The platform we are building will analyze signals from websites and domains to identify those opportunities and generate actionable insights. The system will use AI-driven “Revenue Agents” that detect opportunities and trigger recommendations for services such as hosting upgrades, professional email, security, or managed WordPress. For this project we want to build the core backend engine of the MVP. The objective is to validate the concept and create a working prototype that can analyze domain data and detect revenue opportunities. MVP Concept The platform will allow hosting companies to activate Revenue Agents that analyze domain and website data and identify potential upsell opportunities. For the MVP we will start with three predefined agents: Managed WordPress Upsell Agent Detect WordPress websites that could benefit from managed hosting, performance optimization, or maintenance services. Professional Email Upsell Agent Detect businesses using free email providers instead of professional email hosting. Website Security Upsell Agent Detect websites with potential security risks or bot traffic and recommend security upgrades. When an opportunity is detected, the system generates structured insights that can later trigger outreach campaigns or CRM workflows. What Needs to Be Built The MVP backend should support the following core capabilities: 1. Domain Data Ingestion The system must be able to ingest datasets containing domains and website signals. Examples of signals may include: domain name CMS or technology stack (WordPress, etc.) traffic signals bot traffic indicators ecommerce detection security signals email provider signals These datasets may come from APIs, CSV imports, or other sources. 2. Opportunity Detection Engine Create a rule-based scoring system that analyzes signals and classifies opportunities. Example: If a domain runs WordPress and shows certain signals → trigger Managed WordPress upsell. If a domain uses Gmail or free email providers → trigger Professional Email upsell. The logic can be relatively simple for the MVP. 3. Agent Logic Layer Each agent should have its own detection logic based on signals. The backend should be structured so that agents can be defined and expanded later. For the MVP we only need support for the three predefined agents. 4. API Layer Expose the results through a simple API that allows retrieving: domains detected opportunities agent results Example endpoints: GET /domains GET /opportunities GET /agents 5. Opportunity Output The system should generate structured outputs such as: domain.com Opportunity: Managed WordPress Score: High Agent: WordPress Upsell Agent These results will later connect to outreach tools or CRM systems. Tech Stack (Flexible) Preferred but not mandatory: Backend • Python (FastAPI) or • Node.js Database • PostgreSQL or • Supabase Infrastructure • Docker The architecture should allow future scalability as the platform will eventually process large numbers of domains.
