We are looking for an experienced freelance email marketer to help us build and execute a high performing email strategy for our company in the bookkeeping and accounting niche. Our business generates a steady stream of warm leads from Facebook ads. These subscribers join our email list after engaging with our ads, and we want to do a much better job of converting those leads into paying customers through strategic email marketing. We also want to strengthen communication with our existing customers through email in order to improve engagement, deliver helpful information, and reduce churn. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about email marketing, not just write emails. You will work with us to design the strategy and then execute it. RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop an email marketing strategy to convert warm leads into customers. - Plan and build email sequences for leads coming from our Facebook ads. - Create and improve automated email flows such as welcome sequences, nurture sequences, and conversion flows. - Create email content for our existing customers that keeps them engaged and reinforces the value of our service. - Write clear, persuasive email copy that drives conversions. - Design simple, clean email layouts that look professional and easy to read. - Schedule and manage campaigns and automations inside our email platform. - Continuously suggest improvements and new ideas for campaigns or flows. EMAIL VOLUME We expect approximately 25 emails per month. This will include a mix of: - Email campaigns - Newsletters - Lead nurture emails - Customer retention emails - New emails added to automation flows
