Job description We are looking for an experienced Excel Automation Developer to help us improve and expand a series of advanced Excel tools used in our company. This person enjoys building solutions. These tools are central to our internal workflows and are used for tasks such as generating material lists, pricing calculations, and internal project preparation. We are looking for someone who enjoys building structured spreadsheet systems, not just dashboards or basic Excel files. The collaboration is intended to be long-term, with flexible weekly hours depending on the current projects. ⸻ About our company We are a company specialized in warehouse storage systems, including pallet racking, cantilever racks and other industrial storage solutions. We use Excel extensively to automate internal processes such as: • material list generation • pricing and cost calculations • project preparation • internal engineering tools Some of these tools are already quite advanced and continue to evolve as our business grows. ⸻ What you will work on The role consists of a mix of maintenance, improvement and new tool development. Typical tasks include: • improving existing Excel tools • fixing bugs or logical errors • optimizing performance in large spreadsheets • building new Excel tools for internal use • improving spreadsheet structure and maintainability • helping expand existing tools with new features Over time, there may also be opportunities to work on integrations such as: • Excel with databases (SQL) • Excel with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo) • data flows between tools ⸻ Required skills • Advanced Excel • Complex formulas and structured spreadsheets • VBA / macro development • Performance optimization in large Excel files • Ability to design maintainable spreadsheet systems ⸻ Nice to have (not mandatory) • Power Query • Basic SQL knowledge • Experience with data architecture • Experience integrating Excel with other systems • Experience building internal business tools ⸻ Important note about environment Our company works primarily on Mac Excel, so solutions must remain compatible with Excel on macOS.
