We digitised many newspaper archives from microfilm and hardcopy and ingest existing newspaper PDFs into our website on publisher's behalf to develop an archive. One such publisher the Galway Advertiser has an existing archive at http://archive.advertiser.ie/pages/home.php? The archive runs from 1970 to 2010 . Although the PDFs are freely available. They are very tedious to download, one page at a time. I think either python or Power Automate for Desktops may be good tools to set up an automatic process for this. It would be great if you could give me a approximate cost for you to develop a tool for this purpose. We can either execute the tool at our office or you can simply send on the PDFs to us upon project completion of the downloading, which would be my preference.
