I am looking for an experienced AI and workflow automation specialist to work alongside an existing in‑house app development team. The environment is built on Microsoft Azure with a .NET stack and there is an existing app already in production. The goal is to design and implement an AI “agent” that can take a student from initial enquiry through to completed booking, working closely with the current systems and developers. You will not be starting from scratch on the app side; your role is to design and implement the AI and workflow layer that plugs into what already exists. Your work will focus on understanding and improving the current end‑to‑end student onboarding and booking process after the initial enquiry, then turning that into a robust AI‑driven workflow. The AI agent should be able to ask the right questions about eligibility, room type, dates, guarantor details and compliance requirements, collect and validate documents and other information, update internal systems such as the booking platform or CRM, and trigger relevant emails, notifications, and hand‑offs to human staff where needed. You will also help set up monitoring and logging so the agent can be measured and improved over time. The ideal person has a strong track record of building production AI agents or workflow automations around booking, onboarding, or similar journeys. You should be comfortable architecting and implementing AI workflows that interact with existing back‑end systems and APIs, and have hands‑on experience with Azure services (for example Azure Functions, App Service, Azure OpenAI or similar) in a .NET environment. You must be used to collaborating with another development team and working within their existing architecture rather than replacing it.
