Responsibilities: -Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices architectures -Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless integrations -Implement AI/ML-powered features and integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into eCommerce solutions -Integrate databases and third-party services across different platforms using modern API standards -Optimize application performance, implement caching strategies (Redis, Memcached), and ensure system scalability -Troubleshoot and debug complex issues on client systems with a focus on reliability and uptime -Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines -Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment -Implement security best practices, including authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT), data encryption, and OWASP guidelines -Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to technical decision-making Must-Have Skills: -PHP: Min 6+ years (PHP 8.2+) -Laravel: Min 4+ years (Laravel 10/11+) -JavaScript/TypeScript: Min 3+ years -Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and query optimization -Experience with RESTful API and GraphQL development -Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based) -Experience with Docker and containerization -Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) -Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) -Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Redis Queue, Amazon SQS) -Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish) -Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Linear, ClickUp) -Excellent communication skills in English Nice-to-have: -Experience with headless commerce architectures Knowledge of eCommerce platforms APIs: Shopify (Hydrogen/Oxygen), BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce -Experience with AI/ML integrations and working with LLM APIs Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Vercel Functions) -Knowledge of search engines: Elasticsearch, Algolia, Meilisearch -Experience with event-driven architecture and CQRS patterns -Understanding of observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry) -Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi) SEO fundamentals and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals) -CSS/Tailwind knowledge for full-stack collaboration -Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, Cypress) Tech Stack You'll Work With -Backend: PHP 8.2+, Laravel 11+, Node.js -Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis -Search: Elasticsearch, Algolia, Meilisearch -Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure -DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform -APIs: REST, GraphQL, Webhooks -AI Tools: OpenAI API, LangChain, Vector Databases
