As a Sr Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining interactive dashboards using Amazon QuickSight, leveraging financial data to provide valuable insights into our business operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain visually appealing and informative dashboards using Amazon QuickSight or PowerBI Extract, clean, and transform financial data from various sources to support dashboard development. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable dashboard requirements. Create effective visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and tables, to communicate complex data clearly and concisely. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all dashboards. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Amazon QuickSight or PowerBI is mandatory Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills SQL proficiency for high-performing data extraction and manipulation Strong understanding of financial concepts and metrics Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for data-driven decision-making Understanding of Python/Ruby or any scripting language for integrating with AWS sdk Experience using Git and CI/CD Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis best practices Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes Experience working on a corporate environment Experience in similar data visualization tools is a plus (PowerBI, LookerStudio, Tableau) Database performance tuning Hold “AWS Certified Data Analytics” or similar certification
