We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing & Content Operations Manager who will own key marketing objectives and measurable results across social and email channels. This person will take true ownership of specific KPIs—such as new follower growth, impressions, newsletter subscribers, and inbound contacts—so leadership is not carrying the full weight of performance and execution. This role is designed to reduce operational stress by delegating clear ownership of 2–3 critical marketing initiatives and ensuring consistent execution. In addition to managing content workflows, this person will proactively oversee performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks—even when unexpected issues arise. You’ll bridge strategy and execution: turning ideas, transcripts, and meetings into organized content plans while also driving measurable outcomes tied to audience growth and lead generation. Key Responsibilities Performance Ownership & Growth Metrics Own key objectives and key results (OKRs) tied to: New follower growth Impressions and reach Newsletter subscribers Inbound contacts and lead generation Establish clear monthly performance targets and report on progress. Continuously optimize content to improve reach, engagement, and contact acquisition. Ensure Robert’s content performs—translating thought leadership into measurable audience growth and inbound interest. Lead & Contact Generation Develop and execute strategies specifically focused on driving new contacts. Optimize calls-to-action across social, newsletters, and landing pages. Oversee funnel performance from content consumption to newsletter sign-up or inquiry. • Identify gaps in the content-to-contact journey and proactively improve conversion points. Brand & Detail Orientation Maintain high attention to detail across all marketing assets. Ensure cohesive brand look and feel across platforms. Uphold quality control standards before publishing any content. Collaboration & Delegated Ownership Take ownership of defined marketing initiatives so responsibility does not rest solely with leadership. Act as a reliable point person for marketing performance, reducing bottlenecks and stress. Collaborate with content creators and strategists to ensure ideas translate into results—not just output. Ideal Experience Experience in wellness, spirituality, self-growth, or adjacent industries preferred. Proven track record of growing social audiences and generating inbound leads. Strong understanding of performance marketing within organic content ecosystems. Ability to connect content strategy directly to measurable business outcomes. Qualifications Experience & Background 3–5+ years in marketing, content operations, or social/media management—ideally in an agency, SaaS, or creator/online education environment. Demonstrated experience running multi‑channel content for multiple clients or brands at once. Comfortable working with founders/executives and translating their ideas into clear plans for a distributed team. Content & Marketing Skills Strong editorial sense: you can quickly spot on‑/off‑brand copy, weak CTAs, or confusing layouts. Deep familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and how content performs on each. Experience with email marketing and newsletters (ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or similar). Bonus: experience with funnels, course or community launches, and event promotion. Tools & Systems Proficient with content/project tools such as CoSchedule, Airtable, Asana/Notion, Google Drive, and basic analytics dashboards. Comfortable navigating CRMs and marketing automation (HighLevel, HubSpot, or similar). Bonus: experience coordinating AI‑driven workflows (e.g., AI clipping, copy generation, or auto‑posting). Communication & Collaboration Excellent written and verbal communication; clear, concise, and able to summarize complex conversations into actionable steps. Strong at managing up and across—keeping stakeholders aligned, flagging risks early, and closing loops. Able to give and receive feedback gracefully; you care about quality but can also ship fast. Mindset & Ways of Working Highly organized with strong attention to detail—especially around links, dates, and deliverables. Comfortable in a fast‑moving, ambiguous startup environment; able to create structure where it doesn’t exist. Proactive, ownership‑oriented, and energized by improving systems, not just following them.
