About Personeel.com We’re building Personeel.com: a product that helps employers / HR decision-makers create and publish recruitment campaigns with minimum effort and maximum speed to results. The product must be simple enough for “real users” — including older entrepreneurs (e.g., a garage owner) who aren’t comfortable with software — while still being powerful for HR professionals. We already have: A working backend + frontend (we’re close to MVP-ready) A base brand direction (logo/colors/fonts exist — not fully systemized yet) A clear implementation team (developers + product owners) Now we need a senior UX/UI designer who can quickly understand our business logic and create superb UX/UI that feels like a finished product. What we need you to do (priorities) Priority 1 — MVP UX/UI (ship fast, test fast) Design the MVP so it feels like a polished, production-ready product — high-fidelity, minimal friction, and easy to implement. Primary target user (MVP): employers, HR managers, hiring decision-makers They must be able to: Create a vacancy fast Publish/launch a campaign fast Understand the product immediately with minimal learning curve Move through key flows with minimum effort and friction Core flows (highest importance): Content Studio (most important) Create Vacancy → Publish Campaign Scope: design every page currently on mvp.personeel.com, plus any screens/flows described in our technical structure document (shared after onboarding). Quality bar: push UX/UI quality to the limit (“go crazy”) while staying realistic for fast implementation. Guiding principle: less is more; speed & ease of use win. Priority 2 — Design System (built while designing the MVP) We don’t want one-off screens. While designing the MVP, you will build and maintain a design system that is: Consistent Scalable Easy to build Easy to extend Brand anchors are fixed: name, logo and core colors are not up for redesign. Your job is to build the system around them and apply it consistently. Priority 3 — Brand Book + Complete Asset Package We want a strong brand book + structured asset library that’s reusable internally and externally. Deliverables include: Brand guidelines (usage rules, typography, spacing, components, etc.) Exported assets (SVG/PNG/PDF + source) A clean and structured Google Drive asset folder A maintained Figma library as the source of truth Priority 4 (later) — Job Board Design (revenue expansion) After the MVP foundation is designed and systemized, we move to a job board experience for candidates + employers. MVP deliverables High-fidelity responsive UI designs for: every page on mvp.personeel.com every flow included in the technical scope document Mobile-first responsive behavior defined for key layouts (desktop + mobile required) Clickable Figma prototypes for: Content Studio Create Vacancy Publish / Launch campaign Dev-ready Figma handoff: Auto-layout, constraints, consistent spacing rules Clear component usage (avoid one-offs) Lightweight notes where needed for interactions/behavior Copywriting: placeholder text only (don’t spend time on final copy) Nice-to-have (optional, time permitting): Empty/loading/error states for critical screens + form validations Design system deliverables Figma design system library including: Foundations: tokens for fixed brand colors (tints/shades), typography styles, spacing scale, grid, radii, shadows Component library with variants + states (hover/active/disabled/error, sizing, etc.) Patterns where relevant (navigation, forms, tables, modals, toasts, steppers if used) Developer-experience optimization: Clean naming conventions Tokens handled properly (Figma variables + clear mapping to dev implementation) Iconography: you choose the icon set/style, but it must be consistent and systemized Brand + asset package Brand book (Drive) including: Brand principles/positioning Lightweight tone of voice Typography rules Color usage rules (colors are fixed) Logo usage rules (spacing, backgrounds, do/don’t) UI usage examples Imagery/illustration guidance (if used) Logo export package: SVG/PNG/AI/PDF + variants Structured Drive folder system (we’ll use a simple structure like: Brand Book / Logos / Design System Exports / Marketing Templates / Product UI Exports) How we work (important) We work in Linear (designer will have a dedicated view/backlog) We prefer async execution with clear tasks For bigger tasks we provide Loom context Weekly sprint cadence + review meeting You own task administration (In Progress / In Review / Done) Final approvals by product owners (founders / product owners) Timezone: We work in Amsterdam (CET) and expect reliable overlap for meetings/reviews. What we’re looking for (must-haves) Senior UX/UI designer who can understand business logic and design end-to-end flows Strong product thinking: you optimize for outcomes, not “pretty screens” Experienced working with developers (handoff, constraints, feasibility) Ability to create a design system from scratch and apply it consistently Comment your favorite pet, so we know you are now an bot! Comfortable designing both product UI and marketing assets (brand book / templates / exports) Strong English communication (must be able to understand everything and attend meetings when needed) Not required: Accessibility expertise Running user tests (we will run tests, but you can/should suggest what to test) Engagement details Ongoing collaboration (long-term) Hourly contract High-intensity start (we have a lot to design now) NDA + IP assignment required Paid test project (required) Shortlisted candidates will do a paid test (2–6 hours) in Figma: We’ll give you a small, real flow/screen from the MVP and constraints from dev You’ll deliver: a mini flow, a componentized approach, and brief rationale The goal: verify speed, clarity, and dev-ready thinking (not pixel perfection) How to apply Please include: Your portfolio (case studies preferred — show flows + reasoning) 2–3 examples of: a complex product/dashboard UI you designed a design system or component library you built Your hourly rate + weekly availability Your timezone + typical working hours A short note on how you ensure dev-ready handoff in Figma
