My family owns a software company. I recently stepped into be a product owner for one of our software products that I see high growth potential for.
I am looking to build a lean AI-forward team that enable us to scale with a very small team. I keep reading things around how AI is turbo charging small teams and I would like to consultant with some experts in this space on how I can accomplish building what I want in a secure environment.
The below are a series of agents, channels, and items I would want based on the activity of our existing team:
I. General Channel -
a. Function: This would take EVERYTHING it knows about the Product, across all agents and channels where we could ask it any general questions and it would respond long form to really learn or build on topics.
II. Sales Development Rep -
a. Function: This would be an SDR to help with Product sales including:
i. In-bound sales
1. Profiling in-bound leads
2. Summarizing calls for notes for documentation & opportunities & feedback
3. Refining the ICP by each niche
ii. Out-bound sales prep:
1. Building profiles for outbound prep
2. Drafting emails to leads
3. Analyzing & documenting results for improvements
b. Lead Generation
i. Curating a list of new companies to target that match ICP
ii. Reviewing existing customer base and finding like kind customers who could use the product
c. Documentation
i. Document all info into CRM
ii. Document deal summary of key accounts won, lost or upsold: outlining actions taken, key events, future opportunities, things that went well versus didn't risks, etc.
iii. Set appropriate account reminders
III. Competitive Intelligence Agent -
a. This would be analyzing the competitors and market: Competitors for recent events, changes in product, changes in website, LinkedIn, product pricing, comparing products, news, etc.
b. Reviewing won / lost data to gather information on why we won / lost and draw market insights with it
c. Refining ICP for new markets
d. Reviewing existing call recordings for any customer intelligence
IV. Account Management Bot:
a. License Key & Agreement Management
i. We need a license agreement tracker that is notifying the account manager to re-engage the account at appropriate time before it lapses both for renewal agreements and expirations
b. Key Account Chek in & monitoring
i. We need to notify key accounts to hold quarterly / annual business reviews with the key accounts to stay close to customers
c. Relationship building,
i. Build a "personal" profile for the customer on things they like, appreciate, etc…. Then look for opportunities to build relationships based on the personal things our customers like. Such as vendor gifts, things to do together, etc…
d. Customer Re-engagement profiles
i. When re-engaging a legacy account you need to review past email threads, review CRM notes, profile the business, usage, etc. To build a profile on the customer with intentions to re-engage the account, gather information on the product, make sure we are supporting them, and then get a new agreement signed
V. Pricing Analysis
a. This agent would take a look at the current deal in progress and help price based on:
i. Comps deals of existing customers with similar use cases
ii. Tech stack they already use
iii. Competitor pricing, etc.
VI. Internal Technical Support Agent
a. This would be an internal agent that would help us solve tech support questions as they come in
i. We pre-load our documentation
ii. We upload all existing support cases.
iii. We then continually upload and build on this
VII. Customer Success Onboarding agent
a. Over time the data from the internal tech support would create a customer success agent to help them answer their questions
b. Also, would flag questions it doesn't know and we would use that to improve our documentation
VIII. Public Relations Agent
a. Taking the existing recorded calls and deals closed and creating draft white papers or case studies to be published
b. Identifying where to post to generate most visibility
VIIII. Legal Assistant
a. Help with contract wording or amendments or proofing
X. "Head of product"
i. Reviewing all call notes and looking for product improvements
ii. Looking at our documentation compared to competitors and where we fall short and areas to improve
iii. Looking at where our product is within the
iv. Reviewing customer support questions to seeing how we can improve documentation, etc.
v. Setting product road map and priorities
XI. Travel assistant
i. Booking accommodations when traveling for work
ii. Create reservations
iii. Etc.
