Our books were partially set up but require professional restructuring to correctly reflect: Shopify payouts Stripe & PayPal deposits Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Inventory purchases (protein manufacturing costs) Payment processor clearing accounts Currently, revenue is recording correctly, but COGS and inventory costs are not flowing properly into the Profit & Loss, causing inaccurate margins. Accounting Cleanup (Immediate Project) Audit current Xero setup Correct chart of accounts structure Fix Shopify Clearing workflow Reconcile Stripe, PayPal, and bank deposits Identify why inventory/protein costs are missing from COGS Reclassify historical transactions properly Ensure payouts match revenue correctly 2. Inventory & COGS Setup Implement proper inventory → COGS flow Configure purchase recording for manufacturing costs Ensure protein production costs hit COGS when sold Align accounting with ecommerce best practices 3. Automation & Rules Build proper bank rules Reduce manual reconciliation Create scalable system for growth 4.
