Video Editor Needed – Cinematic Dark Documentary Style (Faceless YouTube Channel) I’m building a faceless YouTube channel focused on psychological storytelling, power dynamics, and controversial historical/sports events. I’m looking for a video editor who can create cinematic, tension-driven documentaries — similar in emotional impact to high-quality YouTube documentary channels — but with a unique identity (not a copy). This is NOT a fast-paced “MrBeast” style edit. It is slow, tense, atmospheric, and psychologically immersive. Style & Tone The editing style should be: Cinematic and dramatic Dark and minimal Psychological, not flashy Clean and intentional Emotionally controlled The goal is to feel like a Netflix documentary mixed with a psychological thriller. What I Expect Strong sense of pacing and tension Strategic use of silence Music that builds gradually (not epic trailer music) Clean sound design (subtle impacts, crowd muffling, ambient tension) Smooth transitions Color grading with a darker, slightly desaturated tone Clips should be used carefully: Short real footage (2–5 seconds max) No long copyrighted segments Always layered with narration Slight zoom/reframing when appropriate Minimal use of original audio from clips The focus should always remain on the narration and atmosphere.
