| RFP - Shopify eCommerce Site Development for SprxBox Scope of Work – Phase I (Lean Launch) 1. Project Overview SprxBox is a leadership development studio creating thoughtfully designed reflection tools and experiences grounded in emotional intelligence and values-based growth. The initial products are two premium physical card decks: • Emotion Card Deck • Value Card Deck These card decks are used in coaching, facilitation, leadership development programs, workshops, and individual reflection. They are extensions of the broader SprxBox studio practice. This project will be executed as a Phase I Lean Launch, focused on building a premium, revenue-ready eCommerce site with scalable architecture. 2. Build Philosophy & Phasing Phase I Goal Deliver a clean, professional, fully functional Shopify site that: • Enables direct-to-consumer sales • Supports bulk/volume pricing • Provides purchaser-gated access to a unified digital Activity Guide • Reflects established brand identity • Allows for future expansion without rebuild Phase I is focused on: • Revenue validation • Customer experience validation • Digital engagement validation Advanced features will be considered in later phases. 3. Core eCommerce Requirements 3.1 Direct-to-Consumer Sales • Clean product pages for each card deck • High-quality product imagery support • Clear product storytelling sections • Smooth checkout experience • Professional cart and confirmation flow 3.2 Bulk / Volume Pricing • Tiered pricing options (e.g., 1–24, 25–99, 100+) • Support for corporate/event-based purchases • Clear pathway for enterprise inquiry (contact form or similar) Bulk architecture should be flexible but not over-engineered in Phase I. 3.3 Shipping Infrastructure • Domestic shipping calculation • Scalable setup for higher-volume orders • Ability to manually quote enterprise shipping if needed • Automate shipping label creation 4. Purchaser-Gated Digital Activity Guide (Shopify-Hosted) Each physical card deck includes a QR code linking to a digital Activity Guide. There will be one unified Activity Guide that supports: • Emotion Card Deck purchase • Value Card Deck purchase Requirements: • One Shopify-hosted Activity Guide page • Customer account login required • Access unlocked based on purchase of either card deck • Preferred gating method: automatic customer tagging upon purchase o Example tags: owns-emotion-card-deck, owns-value-card-deck • Conditional content display: o Emotion activities visible only to Emotion Card Deck purchasers o Value activities visible only to Value Card Deck purchasers User experience requirements: • If not logged in → prompt to log in or create account • If logged in but not verified purchaser → display friendly message with link to product page • Mobile-responsive design • Brand-aligned layout • Support for: o Text-based activities o Downloadable PDFs o Expandable content sections o Future video embedding • Basic analytics tracking QR codes included in product packaging will link directly to this Activity Guide page. 5. Brand Assets & Visual Identity SprxBox has established brand assets that must be reflected in the site build. Assets include: • Primary and secondary logo files (vector format) • Defined color palette • Product photography • Visual style direction (modern, warm, design-forward with controlled pops of color) • Established typography Typography Implementation • One brand font is Google-compatible and can be implemented directly. • The secondary brand font may either: o Require purchase of a web license for Shopify implementation, or o Be replaced with a compatible Shopify-supported or Google font that closely aligns with the brand aesthetic. Developer should review feasibility and advise on implementation approach. Brand typography and color hierarchy should be implemented consistently across: • Homepage • Product pages • Activity Guide page • Buttons and UI elements • Email capture elements 6. Email Capture • Subtle, professional newsletter sign-up • No aggressive popups • Clean integration aligned with brand tone 7. Pages Included in Phase I • Homepage • Emotion Card Deck product page • Value Card Deck product page • Unified Activity Guide (gated) • About page • Contact page No blog, membership portal, wholesale portal, LMS platform, or advanced automation required in Phase I. 8. Scalability Considerations (Architectural Only) The site should be structured to support future expansion into: • Additional physical products • Bundled offerings • Digital downloads • Facilitator resources • Corporate licensing • Expanded digital learning components These features are not to be built in Phase I but should be technically feasible without major rebuild. 9. Overall Design Intent This is not a novelty retail site. It is a leadership development studio with premium physical tools and integrated digital resources. The build should reflect: • Clean structure • Strong visual hierarchy • Intentional use of color • Confident whitespace • Professional yet human tone • The end result should feel refined, modern, and scalable.
