Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Amazon PPC Specialist who is highly proficient with AI-powered advertising tools to manage and scale our Amazon Sponsored Ads (Products, Brands, Display) efficiently and profitably. This is a key role coordinating daily/weekly with our Amazon Store Manager (who oversees overall channel performance) and Catalogue Specialist. You will not handle listing edits, customer service, or inventory — focus purely on advertising strategy, execution, and optimization.
Core Responsibilities:
• Set up, manage, and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns in Seller Central.
• Use AI tools for automated bidding, keyword harvesting/negation, budget pacing, placement adjustments, and performance monitoring to minimize manual work.
• Achieve targets for ACoS / ROAS / TACoS while driving sales growth and protecting profitability (considering margins, fees, etc.).
• Analyze performance data weekly/monthly: identify waste, opportunities, trends, and anomalies.
• Recommend and implement strategic changes (campaign structure, full-funnel approach, promotions, seasonal adjustments).
• Coordinate with the Store Manager: share reports, discuss flagged opportunities, align on budgets/goals, and execute action plans.
• Troubleshoot issues (e.g., learning periods, CPC spikes, policy impacts) with human judgment where AI falls short.
• Provide clear, concise reporting (e.g., via dashboards or shared docs) on key metrics, wins, and recommendations.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
• Proven track record managing Amazon PPC for mid-to-large accounts (ideally $10K+ monthly ad spend), with documented results (e.g., reduced ACoS, increased sales/ROAS).
• Expert-level proficiency with AI-powered Amazon PPC tools — daily use of at least 2–3 from this list (or equivalents):

• Excellent communication: proactive updates, clear explanations of AI-driven decisions vs. manual overrides.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating remotely (Zoom/Upwork Messages).
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with hybrid AI + human strategies (using AI for 70–80% automation, human for strategy/troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with tools like Sellerboard, DataHawk, or Jungle Scout for cross-referencing performance.
• Knowledge of Amazon DSP or off-Amazon retail media (bonus).
Time & Compensation Expectations:
• Part-time/flexible: Approximately 10–20 hours/week (higher initially for setup/tool integration/strategy, then lower as AI automation stabilizes). Max ~80 hours/month.
• Preferred model: Hourly rate via Upwork (with time tracking for transparency). Please propose your hourly rate and estimated weekly hours based on a typical mid-sized account.
• Optional performance bonus (to discuss): Tied to improvements in net sales growth after ad spend (similar to our Store Manager bonus structure: % of delta vs. prior year).
Initial Phase (First 1–2 Months): Work closely with the Store Manager to:
• Integrate/connect preferred AI tool(s) to our account.
• Audit current campaigns, restructure as needed.
• Set up goal-based automation aligned with our profit/sales objectives.
• Establish reporting templates and coordination workflows.
