Overview
We're building a fully automated outbound sales engine for a marketing agency. The system needs to identify high-intent leads, personalise outreach at scale using AI, run multi-channel sequences, and convert interest into booked calls — with minimal human involvement.
This is a build project, not ongoing management. We want someone who has done this before, knows the best current toolstack, and can deliver a working system within 2–3 weeks.
What we need built
1. Lead Scraping & Enrichment
Automated daily scraping of newly funded startups (Crunchbase/Harmonic) filtered by niche (AI, fintech, SaaS, tech), funding stage (Seed–Series B), and geography
X/Twitter keyword monitoring for intent signals ("just launched," "we raised," "excited to announce") from accounts matching our ICP
Enrichment pipeline pulling founder name, company, role, LinkedIn URL, email, and recent social posts into a master CRM (Clay or Airtable)
2. AI Personalisation Layer
First-line personalisation generated per lead using Claude or GPT-4 — pulling from their announcement, recent posts, and company description
Dynamic variable fill for outreach templates so every message reads as individually written
Logic to skip or flag leads where enrichment data is insufficient for personalisation
3. Multi-Channel Outreach Sequences
LinkedIn: connection request → personalised message → follow-up (via Phantombuster, Dripify, or equivalent)
Email: 3-step sequence with personalised first line, social proof visual, and scarcity close (via Instantly or Smartlead)
X/Twitter: automated follow + reply to recent post (genuine engagement, no pitch) via Taplio or equivalent
Sequence pauses automatically on any reply, books call or routes to Slack notification
4. Call Booking Automation
Calendly or Cal.com integration — interested leads get a direct booking link at the right sequence step
Slack/email alert to founder the moment a call is booked with lead context included
CRM stage updates automatically as leads move through the pipeline
5. CRM & Reporting
Full pipeline in Clay, Attio, or Airtable: New → Contacted → Replied → Call Booked → Proposal Sent → Closed
Daily summary report: leads added, emails sent, replies received, calls booked
Reply rate and conversion tracking per channel and per message variant
