Full-Stack Software Developer (SaaS, Backend, Data & Optimization) Role: Full-Stack Software Developer Type: Full-Time Reports to: Founder Objective Lead the technical development, optimization, and scalability of our SaaS platform (Spec), ensuring high performance, clean architecture, strong data infrastructure, and continuous product improvement. This role owns backend, frontend, system performance, and research/data optimization. Core Responsibilities 1) Backend Development (Primary Focus) Develop and maintain scalable backend systems (Python-based). Design APIs and modular architecture. Manage authentication, user accounts, subscriptions, and payments. Ensure platform security and performance. 2) Frontend Development Improve UI/UX performance and responsiveness. Optimize dashboard experience. Implement new product features. Maintain clean and scalable code structure. 3) SaaS Infrastructure & Performance Monitor uptime, latency, and system stability. Optimize server costs and infrastructure efficiency. Implement logging, monitoring, and automated alerts. Improve page speed and conversion performance. 4) Data & Research Systems Build data pipelines for financial research. Structure databases for market data and analytics. Optimize data retrieval and processing speed. Support development of AI-driven research features. 5) Product Optimization Identify technical bottlenecks. Improve onboarding flows and product activation. Collaborate with Growth and Content teams to align tech with revenue goals. Implement automation where possible. Required Experience 3+ years building scalable SaaS platforms. Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI, Django or similar). Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js or similar). Database expertise (PostgreSQL, NoSQL systems). Experience with APIs, payment gateways, and subscription systems. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar). Strong understanding of performance optimization. Preferred Experience building data-heavy or analytics-driven platforms. Knowledge of AI/ML integration. Experience with financial data systems.
