Mission Description Compass Accounting (Belgian accounting firm – 13 team members) is looking to develop an internal tool to automatically analyze emails saved in a Windows folder. At the end of each year, each team member saves the proactive advisory emails sent to clients. We would like to automate the analysis of these emails in order to extract performance indicators and generate an annual report. Estimated volume: approximately 800 emails to process per year. ⸻ Project Objectives Develop a Python script or tool capable of: 1. Browsing a folder containing emails in .msg or .eml format 2. Automatically extracting: • Sender • Recipient • Date • Subject • Email body 3. Generating: • Number of emails per team member • Number of emails per client • Monthly distribution • List of clients who did not receive advisory communication 4. Advanced option: • Automatically summarizing content • Classifying emails by topic (dividends, VAT, remuneration, investments, etc.) 5.
