Overview We are stabilizing a production fintech matching platform that uses: -A deterministic weighted scoring engine (not AI ranking) -LLMs strictly for structured explanation (no scoring influence) The platform is functional. We now need governance hardening and regression-proof enforcement. This is not a chatbot or automation role. What We Need -A senior backend engineer who can: -Enforce deterministic scoring integrity -Prevent threshold and exclusion-rule regressions -Implement CI/CD test gating -Harden API contracts (no internal score leakage) -Enforce schema-level repository integrity -Improve performance and reduce refresh latency -Produce SRS-to-code traceability documentation We need someone who thinks in terms of: -Contracts, not filters -Tests, not assumptions -Constraints, not guidelines -Auditability, not experimentation Required Background -8+ years backend engineering -Experience with compliance-sensitive systems -Strong database constraint design -CI/CD regression enforcement -Deterministic logic systems (rules engines, scoring models) -Async processing and performance optimization Fintech or lending systems experience preferred.
