It's simplistic and not complicated but properly planned out
I’m looking for an experienced Maya rigger to build a modular facial rig system that can be wrapped/conformed onto different character heads and reused across multiple meshes.
The system must:
Attach/wrap to different head topology
Follow the surface cleanly
Be reusable (not a one-off rig)
Be clean, organized, and animator-friendly
Facial Controls Required
Brows, eyes, eyelids
Cheeks, nose
Full lip system (roll, thickness, corner tension, compression, stretch)
tongue controls
Lip shaping is very important — needs strong deformation quality.
Modular Options
female variation (lashes, fuller lip shaping presets)
Blush control on cheeks (shader/attribute-driven, with intensity control)
Transfer Workflow
Clean method to apply rig to new head mesh
Scale/orientation matching
Prefer some automation (Python/MEL) to attach to models
