We are looking for an experienced VBA Programmer with strong SQL backend expertise to support the development, optimization, and maintenance of Excel-based tools connected to a SQL database. This role is ideal for someone who can build clean, efficient VBA code and confidently handle complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integration. Scope of Work Develop and maintain advanced Excel VBA applications Integrate VBA solutions with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries Create automated reports and dashboards Debug and improve existing VBA tools and database processes Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security best practices Required Skills Strong experience with Excel VBA programming Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases Experience connecting VBA to SQL databases (ADO/ODBC connections) Ability to write complex queries, joins, views, and stored procedures Experience with data automation and reporting systems Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Good communication and documentation skills Nice to Have Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) Experience with Power BI or advanced Excel reporting Background in financial, operational, or reporting systems
