## About Us We are a Singapore-based startup building at the intersection of health and AI. Our flagship product is an avata AI companion designed to serve consumers navigating diabetes and metabolic wellness — starting in India and expanding globally. We're looking for an experienced **AI Avatar Companion Consultant** to help us validate, scope, and sharpen the technical foundations of our product during its early R&D phase. --- ## Scope of Work This is a **short-term consulting engagement (10–15 hours)** focused on product R&D and technical scoping. You'll work directly with the founding team to: ### 1. Validate Existing Scope & Frameworks - Review our current product architecture, hypothesis, and technical scope for the AI companion - Stress-test our existing frameworks (conversational design, archetype modelling, emotional intelligence layers) and provide actionable feedback ### 2. Map Data Pipelines - Help map the end-to-end data flow — from user conversation capture to insight generation and feedback loops - Identify gaps, dependencies, and best practices for data pipeline design in conversational AI systems ### 3. Evaluate Tech Stack - Assess our current and proposed tech stack (LLMs, STT/TTS engines, avatar frameworks, orchestration layers) - Benchmark alternatives and provide a comparative evaluation with clear trade-offs ### 4. Vendor Finalisation Support - Help evaluate and shortlist vendors/partners for key components of the build (voice AI, avatar rendering, LLM orchestration) - Provide structured recommendations to support final vendor selection ### 5. Future Work (Optional) - Based on mutual fit, there is potential for continued involvement in deeper technical scoping, prototype review, or advisory capacity --- ## Ideal Candidate Profile - **3+ years** of hands-on experience building or consulting on conversational AI, virtual companions, or AI avatar systems - Deep familiarity with **LLM orchestration**, **voice pipelines (STT/TTS)**, and **avatar/agent frameworks** - Experience with **system architecture design** for AI-first products - Familiarity with platforms such as **LiveKit, Pipecat, Sarvam AI, ElevenLabs, D-ID, HeyGen**, or similar - Ability to evaluate and compare vendors across cost, latency, language support, and scalability - Strong communication skills — ability to articulate technical trade-offs clearly to a non-technical founding team - Prior startup or early-stage product consulting experience is a plus ## How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: 1.
