VBA Excel Coding to create an excel template for user to put data and generate automatic results

I have developed an OEE template that already includes all the necessary formulas. What I’m looking to create now is a more user-friendly and interactive interface where users can input key values—such as machine runtime, cycle time, downtime, and scrap—and have the OEE metrics generated automatically. Additionally, I’d like to enhance the overall interactivity and usability of the tool. Below are the key requirements: 1) OEE Template (Main Interface) This is the primary sheet where users will input their data. I’ve attempted to build a feature using VBA where clicking a button adds a new column dedicated to a specific manufacturing operation. a) If there are multiple processes, users should be able to add multiple columns dynamically. b) Users should also have the option to delete columns if they are no longer needed. I will attach a screenshot of my current implementation to give you a better idea of what I’ve built so far. 2) Downtime Details Breakdown a) In the OEE sheet, users will input total downtime. However, this value should be linked to another table where users can break down the total downtime into specific reasons or categories. b) This will help in identifying the root causes and major contributors to downtime. c) There should also be a graph, and I should be able to filter it for the ones I want. 3) Scrap Analysis a) Similarly, for scrap data, users should be able to categorize and analyze scrap by type/reason. b) The goal is to identify top contributors to scrap. c) It would be great if users could also attach photos for better documentation and analysis. d) There should also be a graph. e) Should be able to filter the data for specific issue/date/etc. 4) Data Linking Across Sheets Some variables from the OEE sheet will need to be linked to other sheets. I will provide more details on this requirement later. ______________________________________________ I’ve attached the OEE template (with formulas) along with a screenshot of my current VBA-based approach. While it gives a basic idea of the functionality, I’m looking for a more polished, visually appealing, and interactive solution. Please feel free to reach out if you need any clarification.
