Web ApplicationSaaS
We are building a specialized InsurTech SaaS platform that analyzes insurance litigation data to provide carriers and claims teams with intelligence on plaintiff attorneys, case outcomes, settlement behavior, and litigation patterns.
This is NOT a simple app.
This is a data-driven analytics platform focused specifically on insurance-related litigation (property, bodily injury, bad faith, etc.).
Our goal is to create a dashboard where insurance carriers can:
- Search plaintiff attorneys
- View insurance-case-only litigation history
- Analyze settlement vs trial patterns
- See jurisdiction performance (state/county)
- Predict litigation risk and claim severity
- Track filing frequency and time-to-suit metrics
Think: LexisNexis / Premonition style analytics, but purpose-built for insurance claims workflows.
Core MVP Features:
- Attorney search and profile database
- Litigation analytics dashboard (insurance cases only)
- Case outcome classification (settled, dismissed, trial, verdict)
- Data visualization (charts, heatmaps, trend analytics)
- Risk scoring engine (based on historical case behavior)
- Secure login (enterprise SaaS architecture)
- API-ready backend for future claims system integrations (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.)
Data Sources (to be discussed):
- Public court records (state & federal)
- Insurance litigation datasets
- Docket scraping / legal data APIs
- Structured data normalization across jurisdictions
Tech Stack Preference (Open to Recommendations):
- Frontend: React / Next.js
- Backend: Python (FastAPI) or Node.js
- Database: PostgreSQL + Elasticsearch (or similar)
- Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure
- AI/Analytics Layer: Python, ML models (Phase 2)
Ideal Developer/Team Experience:
- SaaS analytics platforms
- Legal tech OR insurtech (highly preferred)
- Large dataset ingestion & normalization
- Web scraping / data pipelines
- Dashboard UI/UX for enterprise users
- Scalable architecture design (not MVP shortcuts)
Project Scope:
Phase 1: MVP Build (Analytics Dashboard + Core Data Engine)
Phase 2: Predictive Risk Scoring & AI Insights
Phase 3: Enterprise integrations & scaling
Budget:
Flexible based on expertise (serious proposals only).
We are prioritizing quality, scalability, and long-term partnership over cheap development.
