We (JMM INNOVATIONS, Riyadh) need an experienced Supabase engineer to migrate our Lovable-built React + Supabase project to Alibaba Cloud by setting up a fully self-hosted Supabase backend on our Linux VM and pointing the app to it. What you’ll do Set up self-hosted Supabase on our Alibaba Cloud Linux VM (prefer Docker/Docker Compose). Migrate database schema using our existing Supabase migrations from the Lovable project (supabase/migrations). ​ Migrate data from Lovable Cloud DB to the self-hosted instance (export/import or CLI dump/restore). Migrate Storage buckets/files (download/upload) and ensure policies still work. ​ Reconfigure Auth providers and update OAuth redirect URLs for the new domain. ​ Update frontend environment variables (VITE_SUPABASE_URL + keys) and verify the app works in production. ​ Provide basic production hardening: HTTPS/reverse proxy guidance, secrets handling, and a repeatable redeploy process. Deliverables Working self-hosted Supabase on Alibaba VM. ​ Database + data + storage migrated successfully. App connected to the new Supabase endpoint and smoke-tested. ​ Short handover doc: how to redeploy/update, backup basics, where configs live. Requirements Proven experience self-hosting Supabase with Docker/Docker Compose. Strong Postgres + migrations + RLS familiarity. ​ Comfortable with Linux VM deployments and production troubleshooting. ​
