We are seeking an experienced email marketing professional to set up Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) for our business. The project involves creating a full automation build and developing a deliverability strategy for a list of 100,000 contacts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in email marketing and automation tools, with a focus on optimizing deliverability and engagement rates. If you have a proven track record in similar projects, we would love to hear from you.
This is a controlled reactivation + full automation build.
We are going aggressive but controlled.
The goal is to monetise hard, increase frequency fast, and protect deliverability.
You must have strong experience in:
• Brevo (or similar ESP at scale)
• Deliverability optimisation
• Domain authentication
• List warming
• Segmentation strategy
• High-converting eCommerce flows
PHASE 1 – INFRASTRUCTURE & DELIVERABILITY (MANDATORY)
Before sending anything:
Confirm dedicated sending subdomain is fully authenticated:
SPF
DKIM
DMARC
Ensure sending reputation is protected.
We will NOT email the full 100k list at once unless doing a broadcast sale campaign.
Maximum 30k per day during expansion.
Create the following segments:
• Engaged 120 Days (opened or clicked in last 120 days)
• Engaged 180 Days
• Cold 180+ Days
• Buyers (All Time)
• Rolling 14-Day Engaged
Deliverability protection is critical.
PHASE 2 – CONTROLLED REACTIVATION STRATEGY
Tone must be:
Confident
Forward-moving
Authority
Results-focused
Week 1:
Campaign 1 → Send to Engaged 120 Days
Campaign 2 → Send to Engaged 180 Days
Wait 48 hours between waves.
Monitor open rate, spam complaints, unsubscribes.
Week 2:
Campaign 3 → Send to Cold segment.
Short, direct, clear CTA, clear opt-out.
After this, build a new master segment:
Opened or clicked in last 14 days.
Then ramp frequency:
Week 2 → 2 campaigns
Week 3 → 3 campaigns
Week 4 → 3–4 campaigns
Anyone who does not engage after 30 days → suppress.
PHASE 3 – FULL AUTOMATION BUILD (5 Emails Per Flow)
All flows must be built while campaigns are running.
We need full setup of:
Welcome Flow (5 emails)
Abandoned Cart (5 emails)
Browse Abandonment (5 emails)
Post Purchase Flow (5 emails)
Winback Flow (5 emails)
Education Flow (5 emails)
VIP Flow (5 emails)
Replenishment Flow (5 emails)
Each email must include:
• One clear CTA
• Short paragraphs
• Mobile-first formatting
• Strong subject lines
• Clear conversion goal
You will handle both:
• Automation structure
• Email copy
• Flow logic
• Trigger setup
• Timing optimisation
Deliverables Required
• Full Brevo setup
• All segments created
• All automations built and tested
• Reactivation campaigns structured
• Deliverability safeguards implemented
• Weekly reporting dashboard
You must report weekly:
• Open rates by segment
• Revenue per campaign
• Flow revenue breakdown
• Screenshots of automations
• Confirmation of active status
IMPORTANT
Pause expansion if:
• Open rate drops under 15%
• Spam complaints exceed 0.15%
You must understand deliverability deeply.
