I’m an indie romance author publishing multiple hockey romance novels this year, and I’m looking for a detail-oriented ARC Team Manager to help me build and manage a long-term advance reader team. This role involves recruiting, organizing, and communicating with readers who will receive a free advance copy (epub format) of upcoming releases in exchange for an honest and voluntary review. This is not a paid review position. We are building a genuine reader community that supports new releases. Responsibilities • Recruit and onboard ARC readers through approved platforms and outreach • Set up and manage a simple ARC application process • Organize reader contact list in Google Sheets or Airtable • Distribute epub ARCs via BookFunnel or similar platform • Send reminder emails prior to and after release day • Track who consistently leaves reviews • Maintain a professional, positive tone with readers • Help grow the team over time Ideal Candidate • Experience managing ARC teams for romance authors • Familiar with Amazon review guidelines • Understands that reviews must be honest and voluntary • Detail-oriented and organized • Strong written communication skills • Comfortable working with Google Sheets and email platforms Bonus if you have experience in: • Hockey romance niche • Booksprout or BookFunnel • Newsletter list management Important All ARC readers will receive: • A free epub copy of the book prior to release In exchange, they will be asked to leave an honest review.
