We’re looking for an experienced Pardot / Salesforce Account Engagement specialist to audit and improve our Pardot setup so we can better understand customer behavior and buying intent. Our main goal is to restore and improve visibility into prospect activity across email + website + conversion actions. We used to have better data, but our last reliable activity visibility was around 2021. We need someone who can diagnose what’s missing, fix tracking, and help us build a setup that lets us answer questions like: When did a prospect last open an email? Which email(s) did they open or click? Which pages on our website did they visit? Did they click a “purchase ticket/pass” button? Did they click but not complete the purchase? How should that behavior affect lead scoring and nurture flows? * * What we need help with Audit our current Pardot / Account Engagement setup Verify Pardot tracking code (pixel) is installed correctly and firing across our website Confirm prospect activity tracking is working properly (email opens, clicks, page views, form submissions, etc.) Review how much behavior data is currently available inside Pardot / Salesforce Audit and improve lead scoring (and grading, if applicable) Ensure website and email engagement can be used for segmentation and nurturing Review automation rules, completion actions, dynamic lists, Engagement Studio programs (if in use) Identify tracking gaps between interest actions (e.g., clicked purchase/ticket/pass) and actual conversions Recommend and implement best-practice fixes for tracking, scoring, and nurture readiness Document what was broken, what was fixed, and what we should monitor going forward ** Key outcome we want We want a system that helps us understand behavior, intent, and drop-off, not just send emails. By the end of this project, we want to be able to reliably track and use: Email engagement (opens/clicks/recency) Website activity (page visits, key pages viewed) Conversion intent actions (clicked purchase/ticket/pass CTAs) Conversion completion vs non-completion (where possible) Lead scoring and segmentation based on actual behavior ** Ideal candidate Strong hands-on experience with Pardot / Salesforce Account Engagement Experience troubleshooting prospect activity tracking and website tracking code/pixel issues Strong understanding of: Lead scoring and grading Automation rules / completion actions Dynamic lists / segmentation Engagement Studio nurture flows Experience with Salesforce CRM + Account Engagement sync Comfortable auditing older/legacy setups and restoring missing visibility Able to translate technical findings into practical marketing/sales recommendations ** Nice to have Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, or conversion event tracking Experience tracking CTA clicks and funnel drop-off (click vs completed purchase) Experience with ticketing/event funnels or B2B/B2C lifecycle marketing Dashboard/reporting experience for engagement and conversion behavior Project type Initial audit + implementation/fixes Potential ongoing support for optimization, reporting, and nurture strategy To apply, please include A short summary of your Pardot / Account Engagement experience Examples of similar audits or tracking recovery projects you’ve completed How you would troubleshoot missing prospect activity (email + website) Your experience connecting Pardot behavior data to conversion actions Your availability for an initial audit and implementation phase
