Project Overview:
We are looking for a JSM Specialist to configure our "Customer Support" board and implement an embeddable JSM widget for our application. The goal is to create a seamless, automated flow from user submission to a categorized, trackable ticket management system. We want to start next week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Widget Implementation: Configure the JSM widget to be embedded within our app, ensuring it captures necessary client details and context.
* Architecture & Flow: Design a coordinated flow where submissions are automatically loaded into the "Customer Support" board.
* Expert Configuration: Use your expertise to structure the best request types (e.g., tech issues, billing, feedback) and labels (e.g., [SUPPORT], [BUG], [URGENT]) to ensure high-quality tracking.
* Workflow Automation: Build out a robust lifecycle—from initial submission to final closure—enforcing requirements like resolution summaries and client confirmation.
* Automation Rules: Create triggers for automatic ticket assignment, labeling, and status updates based on submission data.
Required Skills:
* Deep expertise in Jira Service Management.
* Proven experience with JSM Widget customization and frontend embedding (note: inhouse Devs will do the install)
* Strong mastery of Jira Automation and custom field mapping.
* Experience setting up permission schemes and IAM-style access controls.
Deliverables:
* A fully functional JSM widget ready for integration into our app.
* A configured board where submissions are accurately routed, categorized, and assigned.
* A brief summary of the automation logic and categorization rules applied.
