we usually classify VFX into simple VFX and complex VFX.
Simple VFX such as :
• Sword slashes / arc trails
• Weapon trails (melee)
• Basic hit sparks
• Blood splats (stylized)
• Footstep dust
• Jump / land puffs
• Dash / roll trails
• Basic projectile (single bullet, arrow)
• Small muzzle flash
• Simple UI hit flash
• Simple buff glow (static aura)
Advanced VFX such as:
• Elemental weapon effects (fire/ice/lightning)
• Combo-based slash variations
• Charge-up → release → cooldown effects
• Area-of-effect attacks
• Boss phase transition effects
• Shields with hit reactions
• Damage-type–dependent hit FX
• Projectile with travel + impact logic
• Parry / perfect block FX

Usually simple VFX takes around 1-2 hours to make and Complex takes 3-5 hours to make.
Our game is action rpg soulslike game just like Elden Ring but in cartoony stylized art style like Astro bot, so VFX should be matching our cartoony art style in the same time the game energy.
