Role Purpose
The Marketing Director will lead the global brand strategy and demand generation for our Lithium BESS solutions. Your mission is to position our manufacturing capabilities and technology as the gold standard for grid operators, IPPs (Independent Power Producers), and industrial commercial clients. You will turn complex electrochemical advantages into compelling commercial value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Positioning: Define and execute the "unique selling proposition" (USP) that differentiates our BESS technology (e.g., cycle life, safety protocols, or energy density) from global competitors.
Content & Thought Leadership: Oversee the creation of high-level technical whitepapers, webinars, and case studies focused on grid stabilization, peak shaving, and LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) reduction.
Product Marketing: Partner with the Setup Engineers and R&D teams to translate technical specs (C-rates, thermal management, BMS features) into marketable benefits for non-technical stakeholders.
Lead Generation & ABM: Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies targeting key decision-makers at utilities, renewable energy developers, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firms.
Event & Field Marketing: Lead the company’s presence at major global energy summits (e.g., Intersolar, RE+, World Future Energy Summit).
Public Relations & ESG: Manage the narrative around the "green-ness" of the supply chain, recycling programs, and carbon footprint of the manufacturing plant.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: MBA or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 3-4 years in Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, or EV Infrastructure.
Technical Literacy: You must be comfortable discussing MWh (Megawatt-hours), Fire Suppression Systems (NFPA 855), and Grid Interconnection hurdles.
Digital Savvy: Proven track record with CRM and Marketing Automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo) and LinkedIn Ads for B2B.
Critical Success Factors (KPIs)
Pipeline Contribution: Percentage of sales pipeline originated via marketing channels.
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Efficiency of spend in acquiring high-value utility-scale leads.
Brand Sentiment: Measured through industry analyst rankings (e.g., BloombergNEF Tier 1 status).
Content Engagement: Performance of technical assets among C-suite energy executives.
