We are looking for an experienced Local SEO citation builder to help us manually create and submit business listings to high-quality directories based on BrightLocal’s recommended sites and additional trusted sources. All submissions must be done manually, we do not want automated or BrightLocal-submitted citations. The goal is to increase local rankings, brand visibility, and NAP consistency across trusted directories. Requirements: Proven experience with citation building and local SEO (preferably familiar with BrightLocal standards) Manual submissions only, no automation or bulk software tools Ability to identify and submit to high-authority, high-traffic directories (low spam score, real listings) Must ensure consistent NAP information across all listings Provide a live URL report or verified screenshots for each directory submission Ability to replace pre-existing duplicate or incorrect listings if necessary Deliverables: 50–100 manual citations (U.S. business focused) Google Sheet or CSV report including: URL, status, login details (if any), directory DA/traffic info, and submission date Citations only on reputable, relevant, and active directories such as industry-specific, regional, and global platforms Preferred Skills: BrightLocal or Whitespark experience Google Business Profile optimization knowledge Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz metrics (for checking DA & spam scores) Example of Desired Directories: Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Nextdoor, Angi, Chamber of Commerce directories, industry-specific and regionally strong platforms.
