We are launching AI phone agents for restaurants to handle missed calls, reservations, and customer follow-ups. The first project is for a restaurant (Black Bird), with the goal of creating a high-quality, reliable AI voice agent that can later be duplicated for other restaurants. Nothing is built yet. We are looking for an experienced freelancer who can design, build, and deploy the full AI voice agent. 🎯 OBJECTIVE Create a complete AI voice agent that: Answers missed phone calls Takes table reservations Collects customer details Sends SMS confirmations Sends follow-up messages for Google reviews Works seamlessly with an existing restaurant phone line 🔧 SCOPE OF WORK (FULL CREATION) 1️⃣ Agent Design Define conversation flows Intents (reservation, information, fallback) Natural, professional voice responses Error handling (unclear answers, hang-ups) 2️⃣ Voice AI Setup Choice and configuration of voice AI tools (Vapi or equivalent) Speech-to-text and text-to-speech optimization French language, natural tone 3️⃣ Telephony & SMS Setup of Twilio (or equivalent) Incoming call handling Call forwarding logic (agent answers only if no human answers) SMS automation (confirmation + follow-up) 4️⃣ Data & Storage Store reservations and contacts (Google Sheets / Airtable) Track calls, reservations, and messages sent 5️⃣ Testing & Delivery Real call testing Adjustments and optimization Final handover with a working system 🧰 REQUIRED PROFILE Proven experience with AI voice agents Experience with Twilio Voice & SMS Ability to design conversation logic Practical, delivery-focused mindset Experience with restaurants or local businesses is a plus 📦 DELIVERABLES Fully functional AI phone agent Live phone number SMS automation active Clean and reliable call flow System ready to be reused for other clients 🤝 COLLABORATION First project: 1 restaurant If successful: long-term collaboration on multiple deployments Budget to be discussed based on experience and proposal ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE (this filters bad freelancers) We are not looking for a generic “AI consultant”.
