The closest comparison to what we're building is Shopify — but for finance. Shopify democratised e-commerce by abstracting away the infrastructure so anyone could run a store. We're doing the same for fund management: abstracting away the legal structures, compliance frameworks, custody relationships, and operational overhead so anyone with a viable strategy can run an institutional-grade fund. That vision requires serious engineering. We need agents that can form companies, file regulatory documents, generate fund structures, onboard managers, deploy strategies, and manage compliance workflows — all with minimal human intervention. The person who helps us build that isn't doing support work. They're shaping the core product. This internship is designed to convert. If you come in and do exceptional work, a full-time engineering role is the natural next step. --- ## What You'll Build You'll be embedded with the founding team, working across the systems that power the platform. This is not a defined scope — it's an open mandate to identify where automation creates leverage and build it. Specific areas include: **Automated company formation** — we want to do for fund and entity formation what Stripe Atlas did for startups. End-to-end automated incorporation, legal structure generation, and regulatory registration without a lawyer in the loop. Building this pipeline is one of our highest-priority engineering initiatives. **Automated website creation and deployment** — building systems that generate, brand, and deploy fully functional fund websites programmatically. A manager joins the platform and their digital presence is live within hours, not weeks. We want this process to require zero manual intervention from our team. **Agentic workflow automation** — designing and deploying multi-agent pipelines that handle high-friction operational processes end to end. Regulatory filing, document generation, compliance checks, fund onboarding. The goal is automating workflows that currently require lawyers and consultants. **Platform intelligence** — building LLM-powered features into the Vanquish Dashboard, including prompt-to-portfolio functionality, automated strategy deployment pipelines, and natural language interfaces for fund construction and analytics. **Operational infrastructure** — integrating across our technology stack including MetaTrader 5, fund administration systems, NAV services, and third-party APIs. Building the connective tissue that makes the platform work as a single system rather than a collection of tools. The expectation is that you ship. Not prototypes — production systems that clients use. --- ## What We're Looking For **Technical requirements:** Strong Python. Solid understanding of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent) and experience building with agentic frameworks — LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or comparable. Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and orchestration patterns. Comfort working across a full stack when the problem requires it. Experience with financial data, trading systems, or quantitative workflows is a genuine advantage but not a prerequisite. **What matters beyond the technical:** We're building something that hasn't been built before, which means the best engineers for this role aren't just strong executors — they're creative thinkers who see problems that haven't been articulated yet and come back with solutions nobody asked for. We want people who look at a manual process and feel a genuine compulsion to eliminate it. We're looking for engineers who understand the workflow before they write the code. People who ask why a process exists before deciding how to automate it, who take ownership of outcomes rather than tasks, and who operate effectively with significant autonomy. The work here is demanding and the pace is fast. The people who thrive are the ones who find that energising rather than overwhelming. If your best work happens when you're handed a hard problem with room to think and build — this is the right environment. A strong GitHub profile, published projects, or anything you've shipped independently will carry significant weight in our review. --- ## Why Now We've proven the model in the UK and European markets. The US expansion is already underway with a target of 100 fund managers launched in 2026. The platform infrastructure, regulatory structures, and institutional partnerships are in place. What comes next is scale — and the engineering work to support it. Joining at this stage means your contributions will be visible, your decisions will matter, and you'll have context that people who join twelve months from now simply won't have. The engineers who join now are the ones who will define how this platform is built.
