WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT Project: Professional Squarespace Website Build Designer: Nathan Date: February 14, 2026 1. SCOPE OF WORK The Designer agrees to develop a professional website for the Client with the following specifications: Platform: The website will be built exclusively on Squarespace. Design Integrity: The site will be built using native Squarespace functionality. No custom code (CSS/HTML) will be used that "locks" elements; the Client shall retain the ability to edit all text, images, and layouts post-launch. Deliverables: A fully responsive, SEO-optimized website including [Insert Number] pages. 2. PROJECT TIMELINE & MILESTONES The project is scheduled to begin no later than February 20, 2026. Milestone (Description,Deliverables,Payment) Milestone 1 : Design Phase, Brand styling, UI/UX wireframes, page layouts, and content placement approval. "$2,000" Milestone 2: Integration Phase,"Domain mapping, SEO setup, form/API integrations, mobile optimization, and final handoff. "$1,000" Total: $3,000 Client Feedback: To maintain the timeline, the Client agrees to provide consolidated feedback within 2 business days of each review phase. 3. REVISIONS & SUPPORT Included Revisions: Two (2) rounds of project-wide revisions are included (one at the end of Design, one prior to final Integration handoff). Post-Launch Support: A 14-day support period is included to address technical "fixes" (broken links, alignment issues). Additional Work: Requests for new features or pages after Milestone 2 sign-off will be quoted separately or billed at $20/hour. 4. OWNERSHIP & ACCESS Ownership: Upon receipt of final payment, all rights to the website design and content are transferred to the Client. Admin Access: The Designer will be invited as a "Contributor." Full Ownership of the Squarespace account will be transferred to the Client’s email address upon completion. Assets: All design files, content, and imagery will be transferred to the Client upon final payment. Accepted Methods of payment: Upwork 6. CHANGE ORDERS Any requests for work outside the original Scope of Work must be documented in a written Change Order. Work on additional features will only begin once the Client has approved the costs and adjusted timeline in writing.
