We are expanding our development team to bring on a senior, full-time developer who has already mastered Claude Code and uses it as their primary development tool. This is not a role for someone who wants to learn Claude Code. This is a role for someone who has already built with it, deployed with it, and knows how to get the most out of it. What You'll Be Doing: ================== You will work directly with the CEO to bring detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) to life. You will lead the full development lifecycle: architecture, build, deployment, testing, and iteration. You will collaborate with a dedicated QA tester in your time zone. Your workflow will be Claude Code first, always. You should only be writing code manually when there is absolutely no other option. Your core responsibilities: ================== - Read PRDs carefully, ask clarifying questions, and lead development from kickoff to live deployment - Build scalable, fast, production-ready web applications using Claude Code as your primary tool - Deploy applications to cloud infrastructure and manage environments - Build comprehensive test cases and conduct security testing before handoff - Optimize each application's AI/LLM stack for performance and cost efficiency - Work directly with QA testers to document bugs, iterate quickly, and ship clean - Stay current on the latest Claude Code capabilities and best practices - Self-manage your workload and provide daily progress updates to the CEO What We're Building ================== - You'll be working on AI-powered SaaS platforms. Projects include things like: automated voice ad generation systems, AI agent platforms, affiliate recruitment tools, and other AI-native business automation applications. These are real products with real users, and they need to be built to scale from day one. Every project involves LLM integration, API orchestration, and thoughtful backend architecture. You need to understand not just how to build software, but how AI fits into the product and how to keep API costs low while maintaining quality. Requirements: ================== Non-negotiable: 1. Extensive, proven experience building and deploying applications using Claude Code specifically. Not just LLM-assisted coding. Claude Code. 2. A portfolio of completed applications built with Claude Code that you can show us during the interview Strong full-stack background (modern frameworks: 3. Next.js/React, Python/FastAPI or similar) Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, or similar) 4. Deep understanding of AI/LLM integration: API calls, prompt engineering, cost optimization, model selection 5. Experience installing and running LLMs on virtual machines/self-hosted environments 6. Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, full time 7. Available for minimum cross-over hours of 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday for overlap time with the CEO. 8. Strong written English communication skills Upwork history: senior-level with strong positive feedback Highly valued: 1. Experience building multi-agent AI systems 2. Familiarity with ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI APIs 3. Experience with PostgreSQL, job queues, and scalable backend architecture 4. Experience building and managing Slack bot integrations 5.
