Overview: We're an IT staffing firm building outbound campaigns to reach mid-market companies hiring technical talent. We have the strategy, the tools, and warmed-up infrastructure. We need someone to build, automate, and optimize the system. What we have: Smartlead (inboxes warmed up, ready to send) Apollo (for contact finding) A detailed campaign playbook with email sequences A target list of 17,000 companies Budget for additional tools if needed (Clay, etc.) What we need you to do: Build the first campaign - Take our playbook and list, segment it, find contacts in Apollo, load into Smartlead, and launch Identify new signals - Beyond this list, find other signals that indicate companies need specified staffing (job postings, funding rounds, tech stack changes, LinkedIn hiring activity, etc.) Automate where possible - Use Clay, Zapier, Make, or custom scripts to automate list building, enrichment, and campaign loading Optimize continuously - A/B test subject lines, adjust sequences based on reply rates, identify what's working Report weekly - Clear metrics on what's sending, what's converting, what to change This is NOT: A one-time campaign setup Just writing emails (we have sequences) Buying lists and blasting This IS: Building a repeatable outbound system Finding creative signals for targeting Connecting tools to create automation Ongoing optimization and management Required experience: Hands-on Smartlead experience Apollo prospecting experience Built automated workflows (Clay, Zapier, Make, or Python scripts) Managed B2B outbound campaigns with measurable results Can show examples of signal-based targeting Bonus: Experience with AI tools for personalization Technical background (understands what "Data Engineer" and "DevOps" mean) Worked with staffing/recruiting clients before To apply: Share 1-2 examples of campaigns you've built that used creative targeting signals (not just job title + industry) Briefly describe how you'd automate the flow from Apollo → Smartlead What's your approach to A/B testing subject lines?
