We’re building a clean, practical app aimed at contractors, starting with electrical but scalable across trades. The goal is simple: remove admin friction and create one clear source of truth for every job — from tender through to handover. This isn’t another bloated job management system. We want something lightweight, fast, and purpose-built. The app needs to handle job intake, quoting workflow, document storage, task tracking, site photos, compliance docs (COCs, producer statements, etc.), and handover packs — all structured properly and easy to use on mobile and tablet. It must integrate with existing tools rather than replace everything. Think Google Drive, Gmail, Xero, and potentially platforms like Katipolt. API capability is important — read/write access, status updates, file attachments, and triggers (e.g. when a job is accepted, status changes across systems). User experience is critical. Site staff need to upload photos and complete forms in seconds. Office staff need clean dashboards and workflow visibility. It must feel simple, not heavy. This is Phase 1 of a larger vision: building a scalable AI-driven admin automation platform for tradies.
