If you are passionate about operational excellence, automation, and driving continuous improvement, we want you to join our dynamic team.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job</strong> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li> <em><strong>Operational Best Practices:</strong></em> Design, implement, and maintain operational best practices for tools and automation development. This includes version control, branching, merging patterns, and adherence to DevOps principles, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Terraform.</li> <li> <em><strong>CI/CD Standards:</strong></em> Lead the development and advocacy of CI/CD best practices, standards, and processes using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodeBuild, and others.</li> <li> <em><strong>Support and Maintenance:</strong></em> Provide ongoing support to our development teams by maintaining and upgrading the existing configuration management environment.</li> <li> <em><strong>Tool Development:</strong></em> Build and deploy tools to enhance the deployment framework required for our Enterprise platform, ensuring solutions align with departmental goals and SLAs for availability, scalability, and resiliency.</li> <li> <em><strong>Zero Downtime Strategies:</strong></em> Develop and implement strategies for zero downtime deployments and patching, ensuring minimal disruption to services.</li> <li>Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and optimize deployment and build processes.</li> <li>Automation and Troubleshooting: Actively contribute to problem management by automating repetitive tasks and troubleshooting issues to prevent reoccurrence.</li> <li>Security and Compliance: Ensure all solutions are compliant with security and regulatory standards, including AD, IAM, and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools.</li> <li>Continuous Testing: Promote and implement continuous testing practices within the DevOps lifecycle.</li> </ul><br><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul> <li>Cloud Expertise: 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP.</li> <li>Version Control: 5+ years of experience with Git and other revision control systems.</li> <li>Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working within Agile teams and project environments.</li> <li>Scripting Proficiency: Advanced scripting skills in at least one of the following languages: Perl, Python, Java, Node.js.</li> <li>CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodeBuild, or similar CI/CD tools.</li> <li>Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in cloud automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.</li> <li>Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience delivering and managing solutions on AWS, with additional experience in Azure and/or GCP, is a plus.</li> <li>Problem Resolution: Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, serving as an escalation point for resolving blocking issues, dependencies, and risks.</li> <li>Certification: AWS/GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Architect certification is highly desirable.</li> </ul><p></p><p><em><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></em></p><ul><li>Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li> <strong>Internet Connection:</strong> </li> <ul> <li> Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of <strong>15 Mbps</strong>. </li> <li> Backup internet connection with at least <strong>10 Mbps</strong>. </li> <li> Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage. </li> </ul> </ul><p></p><ul> <li> <strong>Primary Device:</strong> </li> <ul> <li> Desktop or laptop equipped with at least: </li> <ul> <li> <strong>Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer)</strong>, <strong>Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer)</strong>, <strong>AMD Ryzen 5</strong>, or an equivalent processor. </li> <li> A minimum of <strong>8 GB RAM</strong>. </li> </ul> </ul> </ul><p> </p><ul> <li> <strong>Backup Device:</strong> </li> <ul> <li> Must meet or exceed the performance of an <strong>Intel Core i3</strong> processor. </li> <li> Must be functional during power interruptions. </li> </ul> </ul><p></p><ul> <li> A functioning <strong>webcam</strong>. </li> <li> A <strong>noise-canceling USB headset</strong>. </li> <li> A <strong>quiet, dedicated home office space</strong>. </li> <li> <strong>Peripherals and Workspace:</strong> A <strong>smartphone</strong> for communication and verification purposes. </li> </ul><br><br><strong>Benefits</strong><br><ul> <li> <strong>Join Our Dynamic Team:</strong> Experience our fun, inclusive, innovative culture that values your unique contributions and supports your professional growth.</li> <li> <strong>Embrace the Opportunities: </strong>Seize daily chances to learn, innovate, and excel.
