We are an AI automation consultancy building a trigger-based outbound sales engine for a client. The system is fully architected. We need a hands-on builder to execute under our technical direction.
What you are building:
- A signal-based outbound engine that ingests data from a proprietary industry data source, enriches and scores contacts in -Clay, routes them into persona-specific trigger-based email sequences via Instantly, and syncs everything to HubSpot where an SDR operates from auto-generated daily task queues.
Your stack:
- Clay, n8n, Instantly, HubSpot, ZeroBounce, Nooks
Scope (6 components):
- Data pipeline: connect a proprietary data source into Clay and HubSpot via n8n. Field normalization, activation-cohort logic, dedupe. Only active accounts hit the CRM.
- Enrichment and scoring engine in Clay: waterfall enrichment (email verification via ZeroBounce, LinkedIn URLs, title validation). - 5-factor scoring model determining outreach priority and sequence assignment.
- Email infrastructure support: assist with Instantly workspace configuration, domain rotation logic, send caps, and staged ramp plan. DNS and warmup handled by us directly.
- Sequence architecture: 6 trigger-based sequence families x 3 persona variants = 18 playbooks configured in Instantly. Triggers are based on timing windows, account signals, and behavioral events. Trigger arbitration rules ensuring one sequence per account at a time.
- Execution wiring: n8n state machine routing scored contacts from Clay to the correct Instantly sequence. Reply/bounce classification syncing to HubSpot. Account-level suppression.
- HubSpot SDR cockpit: custom properties, deal stages, lifecycle stages, filtered views, automated daily task queues with full context, dashboards (meetings/week, reply rates, pipeline velocity). Nooks parallel dialer integration.

You build under our direction. We provide architecture, data schemas, and strategic logic.
Weekly sprints with clear deliverables.
Required (non-negotiable):
- Clay experience (tables, enrichments, AI columns, HTTP API, webhooks, CRM sync). If you have not built complex Clay workflows with scoring and multi-step enrichment, this is not the right fit.
- Strong n8n experience (multi-step workflows, API calls, webhooks, conditional logic, error handling). Make or Zapier alone is not sufficient.
- Instantly (or similar) setup and management (domains, inboxes, sequences, warmup, deliverability)
- HubSpot admin (custom properties, workflows, views, dashboards, lifecycle stages)
- API integration experience (REST APIs, webhooks, JSON transformation)
