I’m building a system called OCL-X under OpsScript Labs. The core idea is to treat operational governance in organisations in a similar way to software code. OCL-X is a domain-specific language for defining workflows, KPIs, approvals, and governance constraints. These definitions are then compiled into configurations across operational tools such as CRMs, workflow engines, and automation platforms. The system also performs static analysis on those definitions to detect conflicts or inconsistencies before deployment, and it monitors live systems to detect drift from the original specification. I’ve attached a short overview, a simple architecture diagram, and a list of the areas I believe may be innovative to provide some context. I’m trying to understand whether the combination of the language structure, analysis methods, compiler mapping, and drift detection could form the basis of a patentable system.
