I run a performance marketing agency and I’m looking for a high-level operator to help build an AI-powered operating system across the business. This is not a task-based role. I need someone who can take messy workflows, structure them properly, and build clean, working systems — fast. You will be responsible for designing and building core systems across onboarding, monitoring, reporting, and internal operations. A big part of this will involve leveraging Claude and other AI tools to add intelligence into workflows (not just basic automation). What you’ll be doing: Designing and building AI-driven workflows end-to-end Structuring databases (Coda preferred, Notion/Airtable also fine) Building automation systems (Zapier, Make, n8n, APIs) Creating monitoring bots (performance alerts, onboarding blockers, QA checks) Using AI (Claude/OpenAI) to generate summaries, insights, and actions Continuously improving systems without needing detailed instructions Example projects: Client onboarding system (form → database → AI summary → missing info detection → task creation → kickoff setup) Monitoring bots (account performance, onboarding delays, creative fatigue, client comms) AI-assisted reporting and strategy generation How I work: I move fast and expect the same I prefer simple, effective systems over complex ones I care about output and results, not tools I’ll give direction, but you should be able to take ownership and run with it Tech preferences: Claude (important) Coda (ideal, but flexible) OpenAI API Zapier / Make / n8n Open to browser automation or other tools where useful What I’m looking for: Strong systems thinker and problem solver High agency — you don’t need step-by-step instructions Can take a rough idea and turn it into a working system quickly Comfortable making decisions and suggesting better approaches Builder mindset (not just planning or advising) Nice to have: Experience with marketing agencies or eCommerce Experience with analytics, ads platforms, or CRM systems Experience building internal tools or automation systems To apply: Share 2–3 systems or automations you’ve built (with detail, not just a list) Explain how you would design an onboarding + monitoring system like the examples above Tell me your preferred stack and why Describe a time you improved a system beyond what was asked This will start as a project but can become ongoing if it’s a strong fit.
