Title:** API & RSS Integration Specialist for Engineering Data Aggregation (DEW Website → Stepi) **Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled developer with experience in APIs, RSS feeds, and handling technical engineering data to help enhance our **Design Engineering World (DEW)** website. The goal is to automate the capture, processing, and organization of engineering data from multiple sources so it can be seamlessly imported into **Stepi** for advanced filtering and segmentation. **Responsibilities:** * Integrate various APIs and RSS feeds from engineering databases, manufacturers, and technical publications. * Capture and structure technical engineering data (manuals, CAD files, specifications, product information, etc.) for automated import into Stepi. * Create workflows to filter, segment, and categorize incoming data for easy search and retrieval on the DEW platform. * Ensure data integrity, consistency, and proper formatting for Stepi compatibility. * Develop documentation for ongoing data integration processes. **Requirements:** * Proven experience working with APIs, RSS feeds, and web data aggregation. * Strong understanding of engineering or technical datasets (CAD, specifications, manuals, etc.). * Experience with data formatting, parsing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. * Familiarity with **Stepi** platform or similar knowledge management / content aggregation systems. * Ability to create automated workflows for importing and segmenting large volumes of data. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with automation tools or middleware (e.g., Zapier, Integromat/Make, custom scripts). * Knowledge of SEO or content structuring for engineering websites. * Background in engineering or technical domains is a plus. **Project Scope & Deliverables:** 1.
