PROJECT OVERVIEW We are looking for a developer to build a browser automation tool to support internal workflow simulation and testing on a private web platform. The platform is not public-facing and all accounts used are owned and authorised for internal use. The purpose of this tool is to: - simulate user interactions - test platform behaviour across multiple accounts - streamline repetitive internal workflows. This is not related to public social media platforms, marketing, or fake engagement systems. All activity is performed within a controlled environment using accounts that are explicitly authorised for testing purposes. SCOPE OF WORK The tool should: - Log into multiple authorised accounts (provided via CSV or similar) - Navigate the platform interface - Browse content within a feed-like environment - Perform simple user interactions (e.g. clicking buttons such as “Like”) - Scroll and load additional content dynamically - Avoid repeating the same interaction within a session - Log activity (account, action, timestamp). SCALE The initial version should support approximately 50 accounts. Please factor this into your proposal in terms of: - architecture approach - performance considerations - estimated cost. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Preferred: - Playwright (or equivalent browser automation framework) The solution must be: - stable with dynamic page content - able to handle scrolling feeds - easy to run locally or on a server PLATFORM COSTRAINTS The platform does not provide an API for this functionality All interactions must be performed via browser automation (UI level) The solution should simulate real user behaviour through the web interface DELIVERABLES working automation script/tool setup instructions basic documentation IDEAL CANDIDATE Experience with: browser automation (Playwright or Selenium) handling dynamic web interfaces automation of multi-account workflows SCREENING QUESTIONS - Have you built automation using Playwright or Selenium? - How would you identify repeated content in a scrolling feed? - How would you ensure actions are not duplicated within a session?
