Job Description: We’re looking for a high-level Business Development & Marketing Manager to take ownership of growth across a group of service-based businesses operating under one umbrella in competitive industries. This role is focused on scaling the entire group, not just managing ads. You will play a key role in reducing workload on the director, improving systems, building out the team, and driving consistent revenue growth. Currently, the business is being operated as a lean, one-man band at the top level. We have strong foundations, multiple brands in place, and proven services — however, we are not yet operating at full capacity from a marketing and lead generation perspective. Current lead flow is inconsistent, and there is a clear opportunity to build a predictable, scalable acquisition system across all brands. This role is being brought in to drive that next phase of growth. You will also act as a strategic advisor to the director, helping guide decisions across marketing, growth, and team structure. ⸻ About the Group: We operate multiple brands within the plumbing, construction, and home services industry across Sydney and Brisbane, including: • Service Plumbing (maintenance and reactive works) • Home Filtration • Home Renovations All brands sit under one umbrella and are positioned to grow aggressively in their respective markets. ⸻ Current Infrastructure: • SEMrush (SEO and competitor analysis) • GoHighLevel (CRM, funnels, automation) • Google Ads and Meta Ads (ready to scale) ⸻ Your Role: You will act as the growth driver across the entire group, with responsibility across marketing, lead generation, business development, and team expansion. This is a hands-on strategic role where you will both execute and guide direction. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Generation and Campaign Management • Build, manage, and scale Google Ads and Meta campaigns • Identify and test new acquisition channels • Optimise campaigns to reduce cost per lead and increase conversion rates • Oversee landing pages and funnel performance ⸻ 2. Business Development and Growth Strategy • Provide ongoing recommendations to grow revenue and market share • Identify new service opportunities, offers, and positioning angles • Assist with expansion into new locations such as Brisbane and beyond • Ensure all marketing activity ties back to ROI and profitability ⸻ 3. Systems, Automation and CRM • Optimise and manage GoHighLevel workflows • Improve lead handling, follow-ups, and conversion systems • Implement tracking, reporting, and attribution systems • Create clear dashboards and performance visibility ⸻ 4. Team Growth and Operational Support • Take pressure off the director by owning marketing decisions • Assist in building and scaling the internal team • Help define roles for admin, sales, and marketing hires • Support recruitment and onboarding of key team members • Build a structured, scalable marketing and sales engine ⸻ What We’re Looking For: • Proven track record in lead generation for service-based businesses • Strong expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads • Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms • Commercial mindset focused on revenue and ROI • Ability to think strategically and execute without constant direction • Strong communication and decision-making ability ⸻ Bonus (Not Required but Valuable): • Experience in plumbing, construction, or home services • Experience scaling multi-brand businesses under one group • Experience building or structuring teams from the ground up • Funnel building and conversion optimisation expertise ⸻ What Success Looks Like: • Consistent flow of high-quality leads across all brands • Reduced cost per lead and improved ROI • Clear growth strategy implemented across the group • A stronger internal team with defined roles and structure • Director freed up from day-to-day marketing and operational decisions • Scalable systems built for long-term expansion ⸻ Engagement Details: • Ongoing role with long-term growth opportunity • Open to part-time or full-time depending on experience • Performance-driven relationship ⸻ ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Applications without answers to the below will be ignored 1.
